Understanding your Meal Plan: Introduction

You're at Georgetown Now, congrats! But now that you live here, you also have to eat, and as we were cheerfully reminded at New Student Orientation, Sweetgreen, Chipotle or Georgetown Cupcake are unfortunately not in your meal plan. So what exactly is? I'm sure you've all heard the horror stories of Leo's, but that is essentially your main source of food if you are going be following the meal plan.

As a freshman, you have the option of picking between two options, 18 or 14 Meals per week. Which is not much variety, but as you progress you will have the opportunity to choose from a full array. But those meals don't stop at Leo's. You can participate in Grab 'n Go, Spend Flex Dollars at other restaurants on campus. Flex Dollars are automatically added to your account from your meal plan. 14 meals per weeks gives you 75 Flex Dollars, and 18 meals per week will give you 220. Those flex dollars can be used to purchase meals or snacks to store in your room.

Be smart when eating, because it's necessary in order to survive here on campus. Being successful in class starts with having good health, and that comes from eating right. Here is a list of all the participants who accept flex dollars for those days that you jut don't want to eat Leo's.
